Showcase of Champions 04/07/2024

Sunday, April 7 was a perfect day. The weather was beautiful….sunny, comfortable temps and a very slight breeze. Who could ask for anything any better in Highland Fairways? Well, the answer is ..the 2024 Showcase of Champions. This year’s featured players teeing off at 1 PM were Linda Bassett partnered with Jason McClain and Cee Lawrey partnered with Charlie Wilson. The teams squared off for a two-person scramble, match play format. Skills, strategy, talent, anxious moments and overwhelming community support filled the air as the team of Basset/McClain claimed victory with 2-up after the 17th hole. What a terrific way to end the season! Just saying the Masters has nothing over on us!
